Originally founded in 2004 offering sound reinforcement services for bands, disc jockey service, and corporate sound services, we quickly found a shortage of skilled media professionals in our area. We soon expanded to offer videography services to the Texas Hill Country.
Our new firm was founded in the spring of 2007. After filming weddings and other events for our friends and family, we realized the value of the service as a professional offering, and founded Texas Pro Sound & Video.
Our philosophy at TXPSV is that photography and videography are very valuable services to our clients. So valuable, in fact, that we have attempted to price our services in reach of almost all potential clients. We believe that you should be able to hire a photographer AND videographer no matter what your budget, and we have often donated our services to charities and local organizations that might not otherwise be able to afford our services. The firm was founded by Aaron Yates and Kurt Nemky, and they are the owners and operators of the business. Both have been involved in graphic design, photography, and video long before the founding of this business.
Aaron is a 2007 graduate of Schreiner University where he received a Bachelors of Business Administration in Finance. He is a Kerrville native and a Tivy High School graduate of the class of 1999. Aaron is a freelance photographer serving multiple publications in the area, including regular submissions to the Kerrville Daily Times.
Kurt is a graduate of Texas Tech University, where he studied business management. He is also a member of the Tivy High School class of 1999 and a native of Kerrville. Kurt also works at his family's business, Kerrville Physical Therapy Center.
